The Schoeps CMR is an amplifier for use in direct combination with MK capsules and pocket transmitters.
It is designed to draw only approx. 2-4% of the power required by the CMC 6. No 48V phantom power is necessary; instead only a supply voltage/current of 4V/1mA is required, as is generally provided by most pocket transmitters for driving electret capsules.
Not compatible with digital transmitters such as Audio Ltd A10/A20 or Zaxcom.
